Vinegar and Pearls

Vinegar and Pearls

The ladies of Vinegar & Pearls really like each other's music a lot. When the idea came to Mary Tebbs to put an evening of music together that included herself plus some friends, she hand-picked some of her favorite leading ladies and jumped at the chance to play with these talented and respected musicians.

Bronwen Beecher a.k.a. "Bronwen Beecher, the Fiddler Preacher". She composes her own music and plays a variety of styles ranging from classical to Celtic and back again. She's proficient on her first instrument the violin and has become a quadruple-threat adding guitar, keyboard and vocals to her arsenal of kick ass musicianship.

Chandra Whitaker (lead vocals and synchronized booty shaking) and Secily Saunders (six-string shredder and pursing lip smacker/backing vocals) co-front the band The Vision. Along with their bandmates they create an eclectic mix of pure awesomeness. They co-write songs that have memorable and catchy melodies and positive lyrics. They are charismatic and entertaining on stage and it's easy to walk away from a Vision show feeling that you have just been infected with a happy bug. They most definitely are moving the masses to shake their asses!

Talia Keys specializes in sauciness hence the name of her band Marinade: A juicy and succulent combination of many flavors that one would use to tenderize and flavatize for consumption.Talia kicks ass on the drums, guitar and mandolin and her voice, reminiscent of Janis Joplin, grabs you and holds your attention with it's hugeness and appeal.

Mary Tebbs has been called the Ellen DeGeneres of singer/songwriters. It's not unusual for her off-the-cuff, quick-witted and endearing performance style to have you laughing in one moment and crying the next. Her songs will grab hold of you and her on-stage personality will keep you engaged.

Together these ladies plan to bring it big time to the Women's Redrock Festival.
